By commissioning me in any shape or form, you agree to my Terms of Service listed below.
Failure to do so may result in cancellation of your order. Multiple or hard infractions may blacklist you from future commissions.

Artwork Rights
- I, the artist, hold all the rights to all of my artwork.
- My artwork may not be copied, reproduced, traced, edited, referenced, used or uploaded in any way without my written permission.
- My artwork may not be used for commercial purpose/reselling/making any profit without my written permission.
- If you wish to buy the rights of an image for commercial purpose, there will be a fee depending on the use intended for it, which will be discussed privately.
- I retain copyright of the artwork only, while the copyright of the characters involved is retained by their respective owners.
- I retain display rights. All artwork will be posted to any and all of my galleries and used in personal promotional material unless previously agreed otherwise. I will also be free to livestream and/or record the artwork's process unless otherwise indicated in the commission form.
- Most of my commissions will have my signature and/or my watermark. You can ask for a clean version for your own personal use that won’t be posted elsewhere.
- I do not allow my art to be altered in ways other than cropping it for personal use without my permission. If you want to heavily modify my art, please contact me first.
- Do not repost my art without my permission, credits and signature.
- Commissioners can repost their paid-for art on other sites, as long as they notify me first, they credit me, and my signature is visible on the artwork. Commissioners can also print their paid-for artwork for personal or non-profit use only.
- Those who receive any type of free art from me of their characters have the same rights and obligations as commissioners.
- I reserve the right to refuse a commission at any time for any reason without obligation of justification.

Behavior and Respect
- You must be at least 18 years old to commission me or have a consenting adult do it for you.
- Not respecting my ToS multiple times will automatically cancel your order and refund you. If deemed necessary, I will put you on my blacklist and report you on Artist Beware.
- Insults, harassment, provocations, stalking, blackmailing and similar illegal activities towards me or any other party involved in my business will result in direct blacklisting with no appeal.
- I do not haggle. Any and all discounts/offers are decided solely by me unless stated otherwise.
- Asking for updates on your commission is completely fine, but please check my public queue first. Don't pester me to make me work faster on your piece, it's only going to slow me down.
- While I ask for permission to livestream or record the drawing process, I might not do either of those things due to time zones clashing with my schedule or actual inability. Please respect this.
- I am only responsible for my own mistakes, so don't blame me in case you make a mistake during the commission process.
- If you have recent bad history on Artist Beware or other artists have had serious problems with you, I will probably decline your commission.

Time Frame
- Although turnaround time for commissions is usually much quicker, please allow at least 4 months from the day you purchased your commission for it to be completed.
- If after 4 months your commission has not been completed, feel free to note me and ask on its progress or for a full refund.
- Bigger commissions may require a longer time to be completed depending on my queue and their complexity, but details will be directly discussed with the customer.
- Usually I work on commissions in order, but I may decide to go out of order for various reasons.
- Please respect the fact that I may take days off for personal/heath related reasons and that IRL emergencies have priority over my job.

References
- References must be clear and precise, preferably not shaded.
- If you provide shaded drawings/references or 3D references, please understand that I probably won’t be able to get your character’s color correctly right away.
- I do not work with written references unless the character has a very simple design or the description is extremely thorough.
- If you don’t have a proper reference, you can use a free line-art in order to show me at least the general design of the character and/or a palette for the proper colors.
- If you made some changes to a character’s design that are not portrayed in the provided reference sheet, please let me know before the commission reaches its final stages.
- If you're using someone else's character in a commission you should provide proof of their approval.
- When describing your idea, please be clear, detailed and concise. Use of punctuation, clear grammar and extra references for poses, outfit, props, background or general vibe are highly encouraged.

Sketch Approval, WIPs and Edits
- I usually provide thumbnails or various rough sketches to choose from, followed by a sketch approval phase.
- WIP's will be sent periodically by default. The client can request to receive WIP's at particular stages or not at all.
- WIP's of smaller commissions won’t be sent past the approval sketch unless necessary or directly requested.
- Failing to reply to WIP's within 48 hours since viewing the message will automatically mark them as approved.
- You may ask for major edits only at the sketch and, if present, line-art phase. Once the image has reached the rendering or coloring phase, edits will be considered case-by-case and may be subjected to fees at my discretion.
- Edits required by my own mistakes will always be free of charge.
- Not asking for a sketch/WIP to approve or giving me artistic freedom means that you’ll probably get your commission done faster, but it also means that you trust me with it and that major edits won’t be possible once the artwork is completed.
- Generally edits won’t be allowed on completed and approved pieces, but minor edits are up for discussion.
- I retain the right to re-use at my discretion any sketch you refuse for your commission.

Payment
- All payments must be made via Stripe.
- Full payment must be sent before I start.
- Payments must be sent within 48 hours of receiving payment info, unless previously agreed otherwise.
- Failing to pay within the agreed time frame will result in the contract being voided.
- For payments above €150 it is possible to discuss payment plans, but I won’t finish your commission before full payment has been sent.
- If I accept payment in the form of items or online orders I will require proof that it has been sent before I go further than the sketch phase.
- In case something needs to be shipped, shipping payment and eventual customs are on the client.
- Tips and donations are not necessary, but always appreciated.

Refunds
• Refund type 1: If I decide to cancel a paid order (for any reasons) or I haven’t started your commission within your request of refund, you will get a 100% refund.
• Refund type 2: If you (customer) decide to cancel a paid order that has already been worked on, you will get a partial refund (depending on the progress made) and receive privately what has been worked on so far.
No refund will be provided once the order has been finished, for any reason.
- DO NOT take your money back or cancel a transaction without asking for a refund first. Not only is it unethical, but both of us could run into issues with either provider. You will get your money back faster and without fees if you ask for a refund.
- In case of refund types 1 and 2, I retain the right to re-use the cancelled commission for a YCH or other artwork.
- Don't commission someone if there is a chance you'd need the money. It's understandably an uncomfortable position, but still it's not fair for the artist if you suddenly need the money back because you didn't think ahead.
